Six practices. One accountable team.

We are deliberately narrow: product engineering for companies where the software is the business. Everything below is delivered by people who have run these systems in production, not by a bench assembled after you sign.

Zero to scale

SaaS Product Engineering

Multi-tenant platforms engineered for scale, performance and a user experience your customers renew for. We own the path from blank repo to production SLA.

Explore SaaS Product Engineering

What you get

  • Multi-tenant architecture & billing
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Usage metering, entitlements, RBAC
  • SOC 2 aligned engineering practice

On-chain systems

Crypto & Web3 Development

Smart contracts, custody rails, exchange infrastructure and token systems built the way institutions expect: audited, observable and upgrade-safe.

  • RAG pipelines and vector search
  • Agentic workflows and tool orchestration
  • Evaluation, guardrails and observability
  • Warehouse modelling and BI surfaces

Runs at 3am

Cloud, DevOps & SRE

Infrastructure as code, progressive delivery and the observability to sleep through a launch. We build platforms your engineers actually want to deploy to.

Explore Cloud, DevOps & SRE

What you get

  • Terraform, Kubernetes, serverless
  • CI/CD and progressive delivery
  • Cost engineering and FinOps
  • Incident response and SLO design

Adversarial review

Security & Contract Audits

Threat modelling, application penetration testing and line-by-line smart contract review before your users — or an attacker — find the gap.

Explore Security & Contract Audits

What you get

  • Smart contract audit & invariant testing
  • Threat modelling and secure design review
  • Application penetration testing
  • Key management and signing policy

Compounding demand

Growth & AdTech Engineering

The original SPDJ discipline, rebuilt for product companies: attribution you can trust, programmatic infrastructure and lifecycle automation.

Explore Growth & AdTech Engineering

What you get

  • Server-side tracking & attribution
  • Programmatic ad infrastructure
  • Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals
  • Lifecycle and retention automation
Where we work

Sectors where the cost of getting it wrong is real

We do our best work where correctness, latency or compliance genuinely matter — and where a shortcut shows up on someone's balance sheet.

  • Digital Assets & Exchanges
  • Fintech & Payments
  • Vertical SaaS
  • Marketplaces & Commerce
  • Media & AdTech
  • Health & Compliance-Heavy
How we work

A delivery model with no black boxes

Five phases, each with named outputs you receive whether or not you continue to the next one. You are never buying a promise you cannot inspect.

  1. 01

    Discovery & Architecture

    1–2 weeks

We pressure-test the problem before we touch a keyboard: users, constraints, threat model, and the architecture that survives your next order of magnitude.

    • Technical architecture
    • Threat model
    • Scope & estimate
  2. 02

    Design & Prototype

    2–3 weeks

Interface design and a working prototype in the same sprint, so stakeholders react to something real instead of a slide about something real.

    • Design system
    • Clickable prototype
    • Product spec
  3. 03

    Build in Public Sprints

    6–16 weeks

Two-week sprints against a shared board. Every increment is deployed, tested and demoed — you always know exactly what you have bought.

    • Production increments
    • Test coverage
    • Sprint demos
  4. 04

    Harden & Audit

    2–4 weeks

Load testing, penetration testing and — for on-chain systems — an independent contract audit with every finding tracked to resolution.

    • Audit report
    • Load test results
    • Runbooks
  5. 05

    Launch & Operate

    Ongoing

Progressive rollout with SLOs, on-call and observability in place — then we either operate it with you or hand it to your team with the keys and the docs.

    • SLO dashboard
    • On-call rotation
    • Handover docs
Engagement models

Three ways to work with us, priced after discovery

We quote once we understand the scope, because a number invented before that is a number someone will have to renegotiate later.

Architecture Sprint

Fixed fee · 2 weeks

A senior team drops into your problem and leaves you with an architecture, a threat model and a costed delivery plan you can execute with anyone.

Best for teams deciding what to build

  • Technical & economic architecture
  • Threat model and risk register
  • Costed roadmap with milestones
  • Executive readout
Scope this engagement
Most requested

Product Pod

Monthly retainer · 3 month minimum

A cross-functional pod — product engineer, platform engineer, designer and a fractional architect — shipping to production every two weeks.

Best for zero-to-one and major rebuilds

  • Dedicated cross-functional pod
  • Two-week sprints with live demos
  • Full CI/CD and observability setup
  • Direct Slack channel with the builders
Scope this engagement

Audit & Assurance

Scoped fee · 2–4 weeks

Independent review of a codebase, protocol or cloud estate, delivered as a prioritised report with reproductions and remediation guidance.

Best for pre-launch and pre-raise

  • Line-by-line contract review
  • Invariant and fuzz test suite
  • Infrastructure & access review
  • Public-ready audit summary

Questions

Answers before you ask

The six things prospective clients raise most often. Anything else, ask us directly — you will get a straight answer.

How quickly can a team start?

Most engagements begin within two to three weeks of a signed statement of work. Architecture Sprints can usually start sooner because they need a smaller team.

Do you work inside our infrastructure?

Yes. We work in your repositories and your cloud accounts by default, using scoped access that you grant and can revoke. You own every artifact we produce from day one.

Can you audit a contract you did not write?

Yes, and we frequently do. Independent audits are scoped separately from build work, and we will tell you plainly when a codebase needs remediation before an audit is worth paying for.

How do you handle regulated or sensitive data?

We design to the standard your auditors apply — SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA or sector-specific rules — with data classification, access policy and audit logging agreed during discovery rather than retrofitted.

What does an engagement cost?

Architecture Sprints and audits are fixed or scoped fees. Product Pods are a monthly retainer with a three-month minimum. We quote after discovery so the number reflects the actual scope.

Who owns the intellectual property?

You do. All code, designs and documentation are assigned to you on payment, and we hand over repositories, infrastructure and credentials at the end of every engagement.

Tell us what you are building

Tell us what you are building. You will hear back from an engineer, not a sales development rep — usually within one business day.
